Spiced Golden Milk Snack Bites
Astragalus root provides quick energy, supports the immune system, helps digestive function, and is considered one of the most important longevity tonic herbs.
Astragalus is a “qi” tonic,, as it directly supports the Lung and Spleen organs in the body.
By supporting those organs, you derive and maximize energy from the foods you eat and the air you breathe.
As an immune system tonic, Astragalus tonifies what the Chinese call "wei qi" or "protective qi" which is the energy that runs just below the surface of the skin.
It helps the body fight off external pathogens that you may be exposed to. Astragalus also houses what is call "upright qi" which is the energy in the body that supports upright posture and the correct position of the organs.
Weak "upright qi" can lead to organ prolapse, slumping or slouching, and general feelings of fatigue.
( if you autoimmune diseases should speak with their doctors before starting astragalus because of its ability to stimulate the immune system.)
Turmeric, the vibrant yellowish/orange powder that comes from the root of the perennial Curcuma longa plant, has been used for centuries throughout Asia. It has a particular affinity for the blood, and is thereby able to circulate its powerful health benefits throughout the body. It is used to support a number of systems and functions in the body:
- Promotes digestion*
- Supports the brain and nervous system
- Maintains comfortable joint movement
- Supports healthy blood sugar levels already in the normal range (especially when combined with neem and amalaki)
- Supports proper functioning of the liver
- Nourishes the heart and circulatory system
- Bolsters the immune system*
